What is Folren?
Folren is a desktop studio for long-form faceless YouTube videos. Start with an idea, develop the script and narration, review the visuals, and export your video with its publishing materials.
Can I use my existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
Connect Claude Code or Codex using an eligible existing plan. Provider usage limits still apply. Pixel Art and Cel Cartoon currently require Claude; supported non-code styles can use either assistant.
How does narration work?
Choose a connected Gemini or ElevenLabs voice service, use the supported no-key voices, or upload your own narration. Voice services have their own terms and may have separate costs.
Can I edit the video before exporting?
Yes. Review shots, edit your script and direct changes in the editor. Assistant proposals are available for you to review before applying them.
What runs on my computer?
Projects, rendering and word timing run locally. Connected services perform tasks such as research, writing and online voice generation.
Are accounts and downloads available?
Folren is getting ready for launch. Public accounts and downloads are not open yet, and price plans will be available soon. Folren access is separate from connected AI subscriptions and voice services.
